Driving though the Bunya Mountains

From Toowoomba we drove up to the Bunya Mountains.  We were hoping to stay overnight but the campground we chose was closed for some reason so we just had a day there with a walk to a non-existent (almost no water) waterfall.  But the drive was lovely.

A view from one of the lookouts.

The drive along the steep, narrow, windy road through the mountains.

and these photos of flowers are especially for our friend Arthur, our most loyal follower and commentator.

We do have to return to practicalities and show off our new light and portable, fold-up barbecue.  It is designed for charcoal beads but we just use small bits of wood we find around the foot of big trees.

So we can indulge our cravings for a jaffle toastie whenever we like.
